Time and tide wait for no man.


Geoffrey Chaucer, a wise man and is known for his great works which include his most precious work, The Tales Canterburry. This book consists of a lot of stories in a book. He was also known as the Father of English Literature.

Chaucer believed in things he ought to know. His quote, "Time and tide wait for no man." Meaning time goes on and it is impossible to stop the ongoing process.
The Canterburry Tales, the uniqueness of this book took its name globally. Not only that, but it is famous for its different stories in one book. Chaucer expressed his knowledge through this book and making it an icon for the youth and the adults. As of today, The Canterbury Tales is still a significant to the world.


There were different emotions of the book, such as sad, happy, anger, sorrow, grief and much more. His psychology is a mystery to us all but he left us numerous insights and understandings. His goal was to change the meaning of this world with his own understanding and knowledge. The fruit of his work is through his passion and dignity to keep gold literature.
His works made an impact to us because it brings moral lessons and learnings that we can apply on our daily lives. We learned that as an author of a notable book, it fascinates how this can influence lives and minds. We analyzed that the Canterbury Tales is not just a book but a book of stories of emotion and complication. The series of stories of different characters brings life to the book and that is the true essence of this literary writing. Chaucer wanted to show emotion, tragedy, and morality which he did and have made an impact to us.
